How do I join ExpertGrid?

What is the MOU and why must I sign it?
The Memorandum of Understanding records the commercial terms (commission on engagements) and the responsibilities on both sides. You sign it digitally — typed name plus confirmation — and your profile can only go public once the current version is signed. What commission does ExpertGrid charge?
A percentage of each completed, paid engagement — deducted before your payout and itemized on every receipt. The current base rate and per-engagement-type schedule are shown in the MOU. There are no listing fees or monthly charges. See the MOU ·
How does verification work?
Your profile carries a trust level from L0 (self-declared) to L6 (board certified). Upload evidence — publications, credentials, affiliations — in your profile's Proof Vault; our reviewers verify each item at its source and attest your level. How do I get engagements?
Clients find you through AI-assisted search and matching, direct inquiries, and posted opportunities you can respond to. Keep your topics, services, availability, and rates current — profile completeness directly affects your match ranking.
How and when do I get paid?
Clients pay into escrow when an engagement is booked. On completion, funds are released to your verified payout account (set up under Dashboard → Payouts) minus the platform commission. You can track everything on your earnings dashboard and receipts.
How can I promote my profile?
Your dashboard's Share & grow panel gives you a live verified badge for your site or email signature, an embeddable profile card, an "Ask my AI twin" widget, and one-click sharing. Publishing insights also builds your public authority ranking.
What is the AI Twin?
An optional AI assistant that answers visitor questions using only your approved, published material — with your explicit consent, revocable anytime. Every conversation is logged for your review, and answers always direct high-stakes questions to you.
Can I leave? What happens to my data?
Yes. Unpublish anytime to stop new engagements; committed work winds down under the Terms. You can export your data or request full deletion from your privacy settings. Terms · Your data ·
